Trim is the finish layer that decides whether a room reads as finished or nearly finished. Nothing in an older house is square, so the work is in scribing to what is actually there — coping inside corners instead of mitering them so they stay closed when the wood moves, backing out long runs, and fastening into framing rather than into drywall alone.

We install and replace baseboards, door and window casing, crown molding, chair rail, wainscoting and shoe molding; hang interior doors, including pre-hung units in out-of-plumb openings; and build simple built-ins, shelving and mantels. Everything gets filled, sanded and caulked, and we can prime and paint it in the same visit.
